Young residents from Diamond and Good Hope towns attended a Friday evening gathering at the Becker home in Sulver township. They assembled for jig-saw puzzles and a Diamond prepared news pauper read by Rev. C. L. Liming, followed by a fine lunch. Vera Nordstrom traveled from Alta for the weekend visit. Clarence Hagler and family from Cherokee were guests of the Haight home. Easter Sunday brought a large gathering at Mrs. Henry Otto Sr.’s home to celebrate her 66th birthday with relatives attending.
A roster of relatives and friends from Storm Lake Gatva Washta Lakefield and Cherokee area gathered for visits and a bountiful Easter supper. Clergy Rev Liming preached in Aurelia and Cherokee while four children were baptized at Diamond church and Easter offerings were noted.
