Witness accounts of buoyant Dead Sea water experiences
Report describes explorers wading in water five feet deep touching bottom with toes and then sinking in six inches deeper yet remaining afloat in a horizontal posture. They swam in deeper water and could sit and converse easily, noting the sea’s unusual buoyancy and gravity. A south breeze and heavy swell added to the remarkable sensation.
