The Whushingtonian to be published every Saturday morning by James McCapterty at one dollar per year for a single subscriber, four dollars for six, ten dollars for twelve in advance. Communications to publish must be postpaid. postmasters may frank. Advertisements priced at fifty cents for the first insertion and twenty five cents each continuation for twelve line square ads. discounts apply for weekly semi monthly and monthly schedules.
In Decatur on July 7 1843 WM H Dabney replies to a note and delivers his address to the Temperance Society. The Presbyterian Church overflowed as the first anniversary of the Decatur Total Abstinence Society was observed with a pitcher banner inscribed Cold Water and the motto Hold fast that which is good.
