Auction to be held on the second Tuesday in October at the Market-house Augusta for payment of tax due on numerous parcels. Listings include a Broad Street lot, several Green Street and Centre Street lots, multiple tracts across Wilkinson Burke Richmond Baldwin Columbia counties and more, with exact tax amounts. Notice urges delinquent individuals to settle to avoid additional costs.
On the first Tuesday in November at the Market house in Augusta the tax sales will proceed to satisfy tax debts. Properties include 250 acres of swampland in Richmond county adjoining Yes and Lamar lands for Samuel Bugg tax due 1807 1808 amount 3 dollars 43 cents. Also 800 acres in Columbia county adjoining Day and others for John Spear tax due 3 dollars 8 cents. Also 81 acres in Richmond county near John Cadettery and Bedford village for James Palmer tax due 1807 77.
On Saturday October 29 at Mary Rhodes house in Bedford the real estate of late John Rhodes deceased will be sold in parcels totaling 100 acres Pine land adjoining Urquhart and Catlett 56 acres adjoining Catlett and others 25 acres adjoining Sampson Lampkin and Mrs Walker with 5 acres along Washington road all improvements currently by Wm Rhodes sale for heirs and creditors benefits Conditions announced day of sale Mary Rhodes administratrix
