Foreclosure in Ware County Georgia 1808 Case

In February term 1808 of the Ware County Superior Court the petition of Molly Parker executrix of Samuel Parker seeks foreclosure of a mortgage on 150 acres. John McCormick holds equity of redemption. mortgage dated March 1806 to secure 500 pounds. Samuel Parker died leaving a will appointing Molly Parker executrix. Court ordered principal interest and costs paid into court within twelve months or redemption is barred. notice to publish in a Georgia gazette or serve on the executrix six months prior to payment date.
