Proclamation of Acting Governor in 1806 Georgia

A historical proclamation notes Jared Irwin as President and Commander in Chief declaring he holds the Chief Magistracy of Georgia after Governor Ledgers resignation. Early 1806 Acts on Coast Survey and Bond Laws

A compilation of U S statute language detailing treasury directed survey of the North Carolina coast between Cape Hatteras and Cape Fear with shoal buoys or lighthouses proposed and a $5000 appropriation. Also provisions on marshal bonds, filing and recording, remedies for breach, and time limits for actions. Approved April 16 and April 10, 1806.

Tennessee land limits defined for unappropriated lands

The Senate and House authorize United States grants and titles to lands in Tennessee and settle claims to vacant lands. A boundary line is established from Elk River to Duck River and onward to the military boundary line, defining areas to be disposed by the United States.
