A notice by Enoch Crabb states he warned all persons against taking payment or negotiating for twenty notes of twenty dollars each. The notes, given to Liam Farmer for a land tract in spring 1808, were due December 2 and December 25 1809. The land is under execution for debt, and Crabb refuses to pay, claiming legal compulsion.
The subscriber announces a shop within a mile of Edgefield court house where he displays cotton gins equal to any in the state. Patrons will be supplied at two dollars and a half per unit by law. A sheriff notes a bay horse about 15 hands high, eight years old, with right eye dull, trot, mane grown, neck galled, and wind galled. last seen around Augusta minor school area about 15 days ago. Reward of five dollars offered by Lackariah Bell for delivery of the horse to Augusta.
A subscriber offers a 20 dollar reward and 10 dollars for delivery for a day mare aged seven or eight, about four feet six inches, with a dark back streak and a witch tail. The mare was stolen or strayed on February 1 and living six miles below Sweetwater Iron Works in Columbia County.
Gallatin a nine year old red stallion stands at William Low's near Augusta offering a April to August season. Mares kept at one shilling daily with forage and mare care by trained servants. foal guarantee and reduced stud fee of twenty dollars with options. Gallatin traces to Bed ford and Dangannon line, praised for superior form and performance with notable two and three mile times.
All persons having demands against the estate of Wm Fitzgerald deceased must present them properly authenticated within the time allowed by law. Those indebted to the estate should make immediate payment as no indulgence can be given. Fames Violeau administrator May 73.
The notice warns that after June 16 debts to the firms of Robert Moore and Company, Wm Fitzgerald & Violeau, or the Subscriber will be sent to officers for immediate suit. Creditors must come forward to receive payment. May 173.

After nine months a petition will be made to the Inferior Court of Wilkes County for leave to sell 20 acres of land belonging to the estate of M. Gammage deceased. The land sits on Hardins Creek and joins Simeon Ellington and others for the benefit of heirs and creditors. Sobn Hendrick is administrator. May 13.
Whip opens the spring breeding season at his Virginia stand with a July expiry. Mares may be sent on terms previous year plus 20 dollars if kept before removal. Wheat lots arranged for many mares and local gentlemen to feed at 25 cents daily. Also notes on Kng Hi Ram at Sparta with J Thomas, and Gen Twiggs Jack praised as leading sire. Season starts Edgefield March 26 and ends July 16 at 30 dollars, payable January 1 with 29 dollars due when first mare is put.
