Proclamations include tax collection deadlines, settlement warnings for partnerships, insolvent estate petitions in Wilkes and Greene counties, and warrants and court orders for land sales in South Carolina and Georgia.
An African American youth aged about 15 or 16 is brought to Richmond Jail on April 4 for running away from James Sanders near Came Bridge South Carolina on his way to Virginia. He says he belongs to Col. Sanders of Columbia County Georgia and was raised there. The owner must pay costs and claim him. Also notice of Greene Court House sale day on first Tuesday in June with hours 10 to 3.
