Marshal's Sale of 603 Acres in Wilkes County

The court will selling at Washington Court House on the first Tuesday in April between usual hours 603 acres more or less second quality land in Wilkes County near John Robertson, belonging to George Woodruff to satisfy an execution from the Sixth Circuit Court District of Georgia in favor of Alexander Leckie. Stolen horse from Davis plantation seeks return reward

A large bay horse, about 15 hands high and six or seven years old, strayed from Zachariah Walgains’s Augusta plantation around January. The horse has a tar and whip scar on the forehead, a left nostril scar, a very small bath on the tail, and new brands. Reward offered and information welcomed.

John, about 22, five feet four or eight inches, with a sunken look and crooked gait, worked two or three years as a blacksmith. He left Baltimore about eighteen months ago likely aiming to return. A reward is offered for his apprehension and delivery to Edgefield District jail, South Carolina, fifteen miles above Augusta, with all expenses paid.

Nine Months to Petition for Sale of Thomas Carter Lands in Elbert County

Nine months after date, petition to the inferior court of Elbert County to grant leave to sell multiple lands in Elbert and Baldwin counties. Tracts include 206 acres adjoining James Carter, 576 12 acres adjoining the above, 100 acres adjoining Higginbotham, 16 acres with Bend, and three acres with Dudley.
