Ten dollars reward offered for capture of Jinny a about 20 year old enslaved woman who fled from the planter near Cherokee Ponds South Carolina Edgefield District on January 26. Description notes yellow complexion round face large scar from a burn on the right neck and features a tripod cornfrock coat and black velvet pocket or spenser. Authorities fear she may attempt to reach August or Horse Creek Beach Island Savannah by boat. Reward rises to ten dollars plus expenses or delivery to the pursuer. February 28.
