Legal notice to executors administrators and guardians to conduct sales of land or slaves on the first Tuesday in a month. Sales must be advertised sixty days prior in a public gazette and forty days for property notices. Debtors and creditors receive forty days notice and applications for court care to sell must be published for four months.

A public Edgefield meeting favored studying a rail line from Charleston and Hamburg to that village. The statement argues for states’ rights and demands full investigation.
At Lower 3 Runs on July 4 1833 the Society for the Protection of Stock and Crops adopted unanimous preamble and resolutions mourning Tuomas G Lamar. Members announce crepe worn on left arm for thirty days and send copies to the August Chronicle and the bereaved family. George R Dunbar presided with George W Coxtins as secretary treasurer.
