Runaway Slave Named Sam Sought Near Augusta

A 90 dollar reward is offered for the capture of a 36 year old Black man named Sam who fled from a plantation near Augusta. He is about 5 feet 8 inches, slender with thick lips and missing fore-teeth, wore a blue jacket and pants and sometimes a blue coat. He speaks broken English and recently arrived from Africa. Deliver him to N. Delaigle or lodge him in jail for the reward and expenses. February 26.
