Indenture Transfer of Land in Oconee Fork Description
On September 28 1797 Samuel Flenikin of Georgia sells to David Flenikin for two hundred dollars a tract of about two hundred thirty acres in the fork of the Oconee and Apalatchee rivers. The grant, dated December 1767 to James Flenikin, is conveyed with all appurtenances, and Samuel warrants title free from others claims. Witnessed by Davis Gresham and Richard Brady. sworn March 4 1806 by Wm Browning.
