Escape from Richmond jail prompts manhunt for Kills Bruce
Richmond jail authorities offer a twenty five dollar reward for the recapture of Kills Bruce a 19 year old white male and five dollars for each of four enslaved men named Tarleton Redcross Dick Harry Tom Young John and Nancy who fled on the night of the 24th. Bruce was convicted of robbing the Franklin county mail and his parents live in Greenville district South Carolina.
