Foreclosure Rule in Richmond Court October Term 1807
In Richmond County a rule issued by the Superior Court directs that the mortgagee's principal and interest of fifteen thousand dollars be paid into court within twelve months to preserve the equity of redemption on a 125 acre tract. If unpaid, the equity of redemption will be foreclosed. A copy of the rule is to be published monthly in Gazettes and served on the mortgagee or agent six months prior to payment.
