Union College Lottery Draws in New York City
The Union College lottery plan will start drawing in New York on the fourth Tuesday next April. About 600 tickets are to be sold daily until the draw completes. The scheme lists 515000 in prizes with 6115 prizes and 26385 blanks. Part of the prizes and blanks remain to be determined. Also mentioned are new arrivals of first quality Muscovado sugar and green coffee barrels.

Reward Offered for Capturing Len the Boatman
Twenty dollars reward for the capture of Len, a 35 year old Black male, formerly belonging to Major Phining, known in Savannah and Augusta as a boat yard worker. Absconded in mid November last. Any person apprehending him and securing him in a jail in Georgia or South Carolina, with information, will receive the reward plus reasonable expenses. January 37th.
