Sheriff Sale Notice of Richmond County Land and Goods

On the first Tuesday in September at the Market-House in Sta City two hundred acres of pine land in Richmond county with improvements and adjoining lands will be sold to satisfy four executions from a magistrate's court in favor of Betsey Tyler. Also one four-wheeled garbage wagon belonging to Joshua Meals is levied to satisfy an execution in favor of Lafite. Public notice by P Donaldson D Sheriff dated July 34.

Public Auction of Lands in Warren County County

On the first Tuesday in September next at the Court House in Warren County the usual hours for sale will be held. Property includes 300 acres of land adjoining Jacob Burke and others where Jeremiah Beall lives, as property of the administrators of Josiah Beall to satisfy an execution for The Mag Smith. Also 1.33 acres adjoining George Hargraves taken for two executions in favor of John Rashing. Also 220 acres adjoining Willis Perry taken to satisfy two executions for Thomas Carre and Laurence Keefe. Four head of cattle belonging to Clair Blanford to satisfy the administrators of Thomas and William Smith. Also fifty acres adjoining John C. Turner to satisfy executions for Witham Towns’s assignee Pleasant Towns. Sold by Thomas H. Kendall, Sheriff. July 31.

Sheriff’s Sale Notice for Burke County Lands and Slaves

A sheriff sale in Waynesboro on the Beaverdam Creek lands lists parcels of land in Burke County with neighbors Poythree and Dick, plus multiple enslaved people including Isaac Primus Betty Amey and a bay horse. Items drawn under tax and debt executions include land, horses, and enslaved people as restitution for taxes and claims, with notices of sale to satisfy debts and executors of the late Abraham Jackson. The notice is dated July 31 and issued by Joseph Perry as sheriff.

Stolen silver gilt watch and curtain reported at Reynold street

A silver gilt watch with a man and lion motif, gold chain and key engraved J. B., plus a four piece window curtain with deep fringe, were stolen from a subscriber's home near the Theatre on the night of the 19th.
