The celebrated horse Gallatin begins its season at Greensborough with a payment terms of 27 dollars by note due July first and 21 dollars payable within Eaton. Owner Joseph Cotton announces Gallatin to stand the autumnal season at Cambridge South Carolina with March 72 dating.
Seasonal mare service offered at Lexington district eighteen miles below Columbia. Starts April first and runs to July 76 with prices of fifty dollars cash or forty five dollars on credit to January first. Payment expected within the season. Servant with three or more mares boarded gratis. Corn supplied for mares. River-side pasture gratis. No liability for escapes. precaution to prevent escapes.

A large dark bay horse with a star on his forehead and a feather like mark near the neck has strayed from near Schull Shoals Green county on the Oconee River. Anyone who finds and delivers the horse to Mrs Riley in this city or to this office will receive ten dollars. False leads will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. March 27.
