Drama and moral critique dominate a theater review
A lengthy dramatic critique discusses Evadne and the villain Ludovico, praising Miss Cuanel Lorre Bangis and others while condemning the after-piece Two Soldiers. The writer urges virtue in drama, calls for proper moral standards in performances, and advocates bringing back Evadne and higher stage virtue. It also includes war-time dispatches and local notices about ships, arrivals, and marriages.
