Captain Bourne reports signals near Rio de Janeiro suggesting a possible French capture amid war rumors.

It seeks patronage from merchants and professionals, pledges diverse content from articles and correspondence to obituaries and marriages, and promises careful court and police reporting.
A 1835 notice from DiamondslifMl Newberry District describes J Boatwright's improved cotton saw gins with durable ribs and steel saws. The author claims ribs wear out slowly, promising 5 to 6 times longer life and substantial farmer savings. Orders directed to Columbia South Carolina or William Cooper in Augusta Georgia.
By order of the Court of Ordinary of Richmond County the estate of Charles Williamson is to be sold at the Eagle and Phenix Hotel Augusta on April 9. The sale will include household and kitchen furniture wagon and one bay horse with terms announced at the auction. Eldridge Williamson executors.
