Imported Hambleton Stallion Advertised at Scribess Stable

Hambleton the eight year old imported stallion stands at Scribess Stable in Columbia County on the Washington road twelve miles above Augusta. He will be let to mares at ten dollars the season, with eight dollars due within the season, four dollars for a single service, and twenty dollars to insure a mate. The insurance money is forfeited if exchanged. Groom’s dollar due when mare is brought to the stallion. Season runs to July 15 next. notes due August 15. Pedigree and certificate claim elite English stock, citing racing success in England before moving to America. Mares left with the horse will be fed corn on moderate terms. care noted for accidents.

Reward Offered for Lost Bank Bills Between Bedford and Augusta

A sum of 350 dollars in bank bills wrapped in a Mirror office news paper and tied with twine was lost between Bedford and Augusta on the morning of the 8th. The bills are primarily Augusta Bank notes with some South Carolina bank notes and a two dollar Planters' Bank of Savannah note. A reward of 50 dollars will be paid to the finder, by leaving the money at this office or at A Labuzan's. March 19. THOS. JONES.

Richmond Academy land to rent and city lots for sale

The notice states that lands belonging to the Richmond Academy are to be rented for five years at two dollars per acre.
