Postmaster loses five collar note to rived mail at Williamson Co
An exchange reports mail from Nashville to Hardman’s Post Office arriving with seals broken and a five dollar note plus other bills taken. The Hardman’s lock failed and mail was sent to Nolensville under lock and key, with the rider jailed for $5,000 bail.
