Receiver Ousts Hotel Lessee at Hotel Attica

Grand Jury Ends Two Day Session in Fountain County
Fountain county grand jury adjourned after a two day session. They returned three indictments for petit larceny assault and battery and rape. The panel visited the county jail and poor farm, urging jail improvements and praising sanitation at the home where 29 inmates are housed. Mintner Dies From Lockjaw After Traveling Doctor
Roy Mintner, 21, of West Point, died of tetanus after a traveling Lafayette doctor injected medicine into his groin seeking relief for varicose veins. Officials consider possible grand jury action as local feeling runs high over the physician’s role. Funeral held at the Methodist church with Dr George W Switzer delivering the discourse. Mintner was nephew of Mr and Mrs Charles Beedle and survived by parents, a sister Letha and brothers Harley Charles and Eugene.
