A baby show organized by the Presbyterian Ladies Aid will be held on a vacant Perry street lot Saturday afternoon Sept. 20. Three age classes from six weeks to thirty months will compete for cash and goods totaling over 50 dollars. Entrants face 25 cent admission to a Japanese garden ambiance with curio booths and refreshment stand.

Hatton Swank Family Reunion Brings Kin Together at Ravine Park
The Hatton Swank family reunion gathered about fifty at a first sitting and sixty total, under walnut trees near the chautauqua pavilion in Ravine Park. Weather held, no formal program, relatives renewed acquaintance and shared family history. Attendees from out of town included James Hatton Clinton T M James Catherine Vaughn and Alice Vaughn Terre Haute Martha Beckley and many Hattons from nearby towns. The oldest guest was Richard A Hatton of Newtown nearing eighty, while others enjoyed the day with picnics at Portland Arch and plans for another gathering perhaps next year here.

Trustee Davis Dies at Odell in Tippecanoe County
Elva C. Davis trustee of Jackson township Tippecanoe county died suddenly at his Odell home at 46 after heart trouble. He was born near Stockwell and served as a respected Republican official and Mason leaving a widow Julia Sager and children Blanche Vinton Dean Elva. Funeral held today. Will R. Campbell, Fountain County salesman, earned a fifty dollar bonus and shared the season prize with another man.

Re united After 43 Years In Wisconsin Visit
John Carlson and wife visited Charles Johnson and his mother in Attica from Saturday to Thursday. They had not seen Carlson’s sister for 48 years since parting in Sweden as the Johnsons emigrated to America. Carlson later settled in northern Wisconsin and kept intermittent correspondence. They toured the shaded streets and visited Mudlava during a country drive on Tuesday afternoon.

Attica Couple Denied License Then Wed In Williamsport
Statley Haines aged 21 of Attica and Frances Haines 17 of Williamsport were refused a Danville marriage license Saturday for the girl's age. The clerk advised obtaining the mother's consent before returning to Indiana for a license. They later married in Williamsport and returned to attend Attica relatives. The ceremony was performed by Elder Jack man. Attica relatives visited the couple on Sunday.
