The National Car Coupler plant produced a massive nine and a half foot wide casting weighing twenty five thousand pounds. Dora Leclaire Carlson daughter of Joseph and Mrs Leclaire died Friday morning June 14 following childbirth. A longtime public worker in Attica including mayoral office and city treasurer staff she was married to Wilmer Carlson in 1909 leaving an infant son and bereaved husband. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery with funeral services led by Rev Berghult and Rev T W Stewart.
