Tab residents shaken by village store and barber shop robbery
Tab, a small northern Warren village on the C I S railroad, woke Saturday to news that two general stores and a barber shop were robbed the night before. About $15 in merchandise, stamps, barber tools, and some cash from drawers were taken, with broken windows and battered sills suggesting a long entry. Authorities suspect a tramp or hobo rather than a professional thief.

Lodges Join in Memorial Services for Dead Brothers
The Woodmen Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias lodges in this city held memorial services in Ravine park to honor departed members. About sixty participants heard Rev. Charles W. Postill on Brotherhood as the theme. One hundred twenty seven bouquets were laid on the platform, more than double the attendees, with relatives allowed to take flowers home. The piece notes a shift to using bouquets for grave decoration and mentions an upcoming camp clerk election in the Modern Woodmen lodge. Mary McFayden visited her son Carlton in Wisconsin to help bring belongings home for summer. Carl son orchestra provided music for the services with B J Winger and Dale Stansbury playing.
