Guardian Appointed Sought for Will Hart in Circuit Court
Acting for the Odd Fellows Judge Earl Robinson filed suit in circuit court to appoint a guardian for Will Hart who was declared unsound mind and taken to Indianapolis for treatment. Hart inherited about 4000 dollars from his father with an estimated remainder of 700 to 2000 dollars. An old family friend says Hart's mother is an inmate at the Central Hospital for the Insane in Indianapolis.

Aged Resident Margaret Brooks Dies After Illness
Mrs. Margaret E. Brooks 71 died Monday afternoon at her son Harry Brooks home on Jackson and Union streets after indigestion and complications following a Fountain visit. She leaves three children: Mabel Douglas of Danville, Elisha Hamilton of Indianapolis, and Lewis D. of Fountain, plus the son Harry. Burial is in Fountain with funeral at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday led by Rev. William Glover.

Fire Destroys M. A. Judy Barn at West Lebanon
A large barn owned by M. A. Judy at West Lebanon burned on Wednesday morning from an unknown cause. Firefighters saved nearby homes and Judy’s automobile. The barn, valued around $1,000, was partly insured, and Will Sellers narrowly escaped injury when a timber fell.

Race Ends in Death of Horse
On a Wednesday night near Newtown Nolan Wright and Miss Lida Haverstick were returning from a band concert when a racing mishap caused Wright’s horse to stumble at the Dan Reed farm, breaking its neck and dying instantly. Both occupants were thrown. Wright suffered serious injuries while Miss Haverstick had only minor bruises.
