Two Deaths At Covington Reported On Wednesday
Covington records two elderly deaths as of Wednesday. Mrs. Margaret Kellar died at 3:00 am at John Kellar’s home after injuries from an April 5 fall shattered her hip, ending months of suffering. Reuben Miles, 76, died suddenly at Ferguson farm while attempting to rise, with kidney and heart troubles noted as contributing. His body was sent to the Dunlap home for funeral services today.

Neighbors Fight Over Fence Line Ends With Fine
William Johnson a prominent Warren county farmer was fined 10.80 after pleading guilty to assault and battery with intent to kill, a dispute with neighbor J. W. Moore over a fence line near Liberty township. Moore had obtained a warrant in Williamsport but the charge was reduced to assault. Both men are well known farmers in central Warren.

Jacob L. Flesner, a farmer northwest of Kingman, files a voluntary bankruptcy petition with liabilities of 12,594.54 and property available for distribution at 711.
