Narrow escape for Audubon engine crew at switch yard
Engineer G. W. Murray and Fireman Sam Schonfstall of the Audubon branch narrowly escaped when their engine struck a freight car on a switch. A brake was loosened on another car, it rolled toward the main line, tearing the cab edge as it struck. Both men kept at their posts and escaped unhurt.
