Roman Catholic confirmation service at church of Rt Rev Cosgrove

A large parish mass featured a high mass choir with Mercadantes pieces, followed by a confirmation ceremony conducted by Bishop Cosgrove assisted by Father Daly and Father Gleason. Memorial service planned by Odd Fellows at temple

The three branches of the Odd Fellows order arrange a memorial service at the Odd Fellows Temple on June 18 with a committee for arrangements. The Grand Master and other prominent members will be invited and speakers and music provided. Surrounding lodges are invited to attend and participate.

East Side Cadet Daring Train Jump At High School Meet

Two youths, one about fifteen, attempted to board a moving train near the East Side yards. The older Connor Blaffs high school cadet leapt onto the blind baggage while the younger clung to the end. The feat ended with the boy on the brake beam and the train stopping. he was rescued unharmed, while the other youth reached Duv yaport for the state high school meet.

Deputy Regent Craig MacQuaid of Omaha instills Imperial Mystic Legion at Atlantic Gustle No 47 on Tuesday 23 inst, starting with thirty members. Milk Truck Robbery by Drunken Town Gang

A disorderly group formed Sunday morning roamed the town and looted a milk wagon. They demanded milk from the milkman, who had only enough for his customers. The crowd opened the cans, drank what they could, and carried away the rest, promising future trouble for the milkman.
