Argument in the asylum case looms after injunction ruling
In Lincoln on May 18 Judge Tibbetts reviewed the injunction case involving Dr. Hay and Dr. Abbott at the Lincoln insane hospital. If the injunction becomes permanent Governor Holcomb would remove Dr. Abbott and reappoint him, threatening to seize the hospital in the state’s name. The court delayed a decision until early next week amid heightened political tension.
