Government Brings Suit Against Stanford Estate for 15 Million
San Francisco March 16. Attorney L I McKissick filed a government complaint in federal court seeking 15 237 000 against the Stanford estate over the Central Pacific railroad debt. The suit claims Stanford Huntington Hopkins and Crocker controlled stock, making the estate liable for one fourth of the claim.
