Local Interest and Bazaar At Atlantic Opera House

The Masonic Bazaar opened yesterday at the Atlantic opera house drawing crowds as five booths from France, the United States, Arctic, Japan, and Gypsy offered goods and games. A side show featured freaks led by Eh H Bailey the Albino girl and others like the bearded lady and the living skeleton. Dinner served on stage, most items sold, and the sale extended today. Also notes on Knights of Pythias and Odd Fellows lodge elections, upcoming public installations, and legal cases including dam ages suits and rent disputes.

Minstrel Show Draws Lewis Residents and Local Marriages

Audubon residents and visitors filled seats for a Lewis minstrel show while several weddings occurred in the city. Frank Hadspeth and Rhoda Bradford wed by Justice Wallace, and Oscar Anderson married Emley Johnson at the groom's brother’s home.
