Fire destroys kitchen in Melcher home blaze
Firemen answered a 11 15 alarm at Mrs. D C Melcher’s Sixth and Olive residence as a gasoline stove in the shed kitchen caused a fierce blaze. The kitchen and shed kitchen were total losses with contents uninsured. Insurance covers the building loss, estimated at several hundred dollars.
