Miss Agnes Ross, a top Atlantic student, graduated from Hahneman Homeopathic Medical College on March 25 and won the faculty prize of twenty five dollars in gold. Seventy three in the class included post graduates from other schools. Credit is given to Dr. C V Wilder for mentoring the student and contributing to the profession.
The Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic and related groups are described as an independent veteran family organization with chapters in Iowa and Atlantic. Reports note officers in Keokuk and Marengo, a 1996 national membership of around 40,000, and planned April 15 literary entertainment to fund a hospital organ. A civil suit by Wu.
