Prominent Folks Wed At Red Oak
In Red Oak Iowa this week two weddings were held. William G Hyman of Oak Park Illinois married Miss Henrietta O C Ahlstrand in a ceremony at the bride’s mother’s home with about fifty relatives present. Hyman is advertising manager for Curtis Door and Sash Co of Chicago and they plan a honeymoon via Macinac Island and Oshkosh Wisconsin before settling in Oak Park. Rev J M Personius and Miss Minnie O Lindquist were married in Red Oak with about two hundred guests. The service was in the Swedish Lutheran church and the couple will sail to Europe on the Mauretania June 11, returning to Grand Forks after September 16.
