United Press reports in Chicago on June 5 that Homer Rodeheaver testified he kissed and hugged Miss Georgia Jay during her breach of promise case seeking $50,000. The admission occurred on the witness stand as the trial proceeded.

Sewerage Plan Arises For Laurel Elm and Other Streets

A city council session on a special order considered passing a resolution to install a sewerage system along Laurel street from Fourth to Eleventh Elm from Eighth to Eleventh Oak Maple Linn and Hazel from Eighth to Tenth and Olive from Highth to Ninth. Objections filed by Elm Maple and Linn property owners were noted as the council weighed whether to proceed. York Guilty in White Slavery Case Des Moines

Des Moines June 5 George H York a 62 year old Colfax grocer was found guilty by a federal jury of violating the white slavery law after a short deliberation He faces sentencing tomorrow for transporting Mrs C B Jackson from Kansas City to Des Moines for immoral purposes His link to the death of Cashier Wheelock at the Citizens State Bank in Colfax has drawn attention.

Indictments Hit State and National Plumbers Group

Thirty six indictments return by a federal grand jury against officials of the State and National Masters Plumbers association. Indicted include John F. Garry and Thomas J. Atlantic city residents plan a 10 am car caravan to Elkhorn for a Danish Independence Day picnic marking the new Elkhorn to Harlan route. Atlantic High School Class of 1914 Commencement
