Self Defense Plea for Murder Charge Filed for Stepfather
Indianola Iowa Sept 6 twelve year old Marvin Hutchinson will plead self defense to the murder of his stepfather Thomas Carraher on March 1. Defense lawyer Frank Henderson says the boy will not plead guilty to first degree murder and will argue the stepfather brutalized him chasing him with a butcher knife. The boy was committed to jail without bond. trial postponed to November term.
