Avyocs Man Died Suddenly in Avoca Morning
Jap Hines a well known Avoca resident died suddenly about six o'clock Thursday morning at his brother Richard Hines home east of Avoca. He was fifty six and had rheumatism. Cause of death was bursting of a blood vessel in the lungs after a coughing spell as he turned a cream separator. Bert Hill of the Massena Echo reports a Colorado vacation and meetings with HE EB Lewis and Bert Hupp, both tied to Grover Colo. and the Tri City Press. He also notes meeting H T Proctor, former Baptist pastor here.

Also reported an auto accident in Red Oak injuring Mrs McNeil's five year old daughter with a broken leg and bruises. driver Frank Reiler deemed careful and not at fault.
