Cattle receipts at 6 000 with bids from 2.40 to 7.20 for beeves and 2.40 to 6.40 for cows and heifers, with 2 000 estimated tomorrow. Sheep receipts at 17 000 with lambs from 5.75 to 7.50 and sheep from 4.75 to 6.20, with 13 000 estimated tomorrow.

Mrs. Bertha Johnson county superintendent visited the county schools today. J C Christensen was granted a decree in a foreclosure case filed in district court against El Rasmussen and wife. K P Orchestra members Daly Cal Leach Freda Herbert Abe Oransky Ike Block and Aliss Lizzie Daly went to Red Oak to provide music for a hop tonight. Remains of Joe Morris expected Saturday with no funeral services here. Pythian grand lodge date moved from August 12 to September 2 due to the supreme lodge schedule. PF W Porterfield M J Tobin L H Pine and B A Goodspeed attended Griswold district convention this evening. Atlantic delegation to follow by auto. Anita lodge special car contributed to Griswold train. Anita band members joined. Some lodge work to be performed at tonight's convention. Anita degree team chosen.
