Washington April 30 The House Judiciary Committee subcommittee on Judge Emory Speer's charges will publish its report within three or four days. The document is at the printers, and three probers Webb Fitz Henry and Volstead will not reveal if there is unanimous agreement. The report is likely to be delivered to the full committee by Saturday.
H B Suttles East Point postmaster reported via telegrams from an Austin Texas resident that Mexicans in Austin became unruly with police called to quell numerous assaults between Americans and Mexicans. The Austin recruiting station sent two troop cars for border patrol and more troops were departing Austin.
In Batavia Java April 30 physicians gave up hope for Mme Lillian Nordica the famed operatic star ill for about a month since arrival. She had rallied and planned to sail for home to meet her husband George W Young of New York but relapsed a few days later.
A program lists Atlanta housewives registered to buy farm and dairy products directly from growers. The appeal notes time and money invested to aid both sides and invites sellers to advertise in The Georgian and Hearst’s Sunday American to reach this consumer list and L.1 oles.
Macon will establish a special hospital for tubercular and pellagra patients. County Commissioners City Council Board of Health and Bibb County Medical Society collaborate to segregate these sufferers from other hospital patients.
ROME April 30. The Sacred Congregation of the Sacrament will begin hearings on applications by Manuel of Portugal and his wife for an annulment. The applications were kept quiet at the Kaiser’s request to prevent public scandal.

Fourteen Signal Corps soldiers from Washington route through Atlanta en route to Texas City. They spent several hours sightseeing and predict extensive preparations for invading Mexico, despite mediation efforts, and expect to serve in the southern republic.
Clifford Garner, a painter at 654 North Ashby, fell 49 feet from a ladder while painting a two story house at 254 Juniper Street on Thursday. He struck the sidewalk, bruising hands and head, breaking three ribs, and possibly sustaining internal injuries. Garner was taken to Grady Hospital where he was said to have a chance to recover.
Former President William H Taft is confined to his New Haven home with a slight gout attack in the left foot. His physician orders rest for a few days and he has canceled engagements to speak in New York and Providence. He plans to attend Yale classes early next week.
Alan Dean Whitaker, superintendent of the Atlanta Gas Light Company, spoke at the Ad Men's Club luncheon at the Hotel Ansley detailing Atlanta gas priced at $1 per thousand cubic feet. Over 50 club members attended, finding the talk highly engaging and informative.
Yeggmen blew the safe in Clarence Parney's store at Lake Oswanny N Y and found only trading stamps, numbering about six hundred, pasted on the window panes.
John King an insurance agent residing at 38 Capitol Avenue attempted suicide by swallowing three bichloride of mercury tablets on Wednesday night. He was taken to Grady Hospital where physicians said he would probably recover. Miss Kathleen Smith, a boarder, witnessed him drink the poison and summoned an ambulance.
Detectives search for a $275 diamond ring owned by J. L. Herman of Houston Texas. The ruby ring is surrounded by twelve diamonds and disappeared from Herman in a Pullman car in Atlanta several days ago.
NEW ALABAMA MARSHAL, WASHINGTON, April 30. The President today nominated William R. Waller of Montgomery to be United States marshal of the Alabama middle district. Also named were Colonel George Bell Jr to brigadier general and Commander Thomas Washington U S Navy to captain with Lieutenant Commander James P Morton U S Navy to commander.
