One Brother Dying, Another Drops Dead in Ohio
In Zanesville Ohio on June 29 Charles Rock aged 52 died at his home after learning his brother Thomas Rock, a cyclone victim, was dying in a local hospital. Thomas, grievously injured with both legs crushed in the St Thomas church cyclone disaster, had one leg amputated and was reported barely alive with doctors giving up hope for recovery.

Rewards for Bill Miner and two pals escapees offered
The state prison commission today offered 50 dollar rewards for the recapture of Bill Miner and his two companions, W. J. Widencamp and W. M. Wiggins, three convicts who escaped from the state prison farm at Milledgeville Thursday night. No trace of the escape has been found yet as officers across middle Georgia scour the area. The commission received an official warden’s report detailing the escape, as published in The Georgian yesterday.

Macon Militiamen Seek Rifle Shoot at Holton Range
