Man released after six years illegal asylum confinement
Rome Ga June 4 Samuel E Whitemire a prominent north Georgia newspaper man was released from the state sanitarium at Milledgeville after six years claiming illegal commitment. He arrived home and planned to move to Chicago to establish residence. His wife was alleged to have had a hand in sending him to the asylum.
