A 9 year old boy Melville Curtis son of Dr and Mrs C F Curtis East Lake died after fatal burns while trying to feed a fire in a cook stove at 5 am Tuesday. His dress caught fire and he later died at 9 am after suffering intense pain and prayer. His mother suffered burns while trying to extinguish the flames. Funeral arrangements were to be announced by the family.
