Detectives probe a porch climber who Tuesday stole Mrs Frank Hawkins diamonds valued at 6000 from 710 Peachtree Street. The thief entered while family dined Monday, forcing entry via the open room window and leaving muddy footprints. The case contains a list of jewelry including rings pins chains and a sapphire set, with professional thief suspected.
In Vernon California five thousand spectators filled the arena for the Campi Williams preliminaries at 2 15 pm. Dan Morgan of Knockout Brown backs Williams as betting heats up for the main event. Sam Morris defeated Fitzgerald in the opening four round bout. O Neil halted Miller in round six of the second preliminary. Campi and Williams weighed in at 2 50 pm.

Mullery longtime Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul railroad official testified in city court that the humiliation of a mistaken arrest for theft and a ride to the police station in a patrol wagon warrants 25000 damages. Mullery sued Ransom M Thompson who allegedly identified him to police as a thief after a January 12 incident in Inman Park.
