BLACKS MURDER STORY BACKED BY POSTMORTEM
Dublin September 28 Special post mortem examination today on the body of fleischel Beacham found in the Oconee river. John Gardner, a negro, testified that Ed Montigord shot Beacham in the back of the head while the three were on the river bank about eight o clock. Police think Beachams body was thrown into the river to conceal the crime as the head wound would not have killed him instantly. The negro said Beacham made a rasping noise as Montford weighted the body with wire to keep it submerged. A ring taken from Beachams finger was identified as the one he wore when last seen, buried by Montford and later dug up by police.
