Miss Morrison Predicts Varied Fall Fashion Styles
Miss J. C. Morrison says fall and winter fashions will diverge from prior years with individuality as the keynote. She notes looser, fuller skirts, a mix of straight princess lines, various sleeve lengths, and lavish trims from sequins to fur, while French designers emphasize personal taste and restraint in fullness. The tea dance wardrobe evolves to ultra chic coats, velvet or cloth ensembles, and longer outer garments, with a noted shift toward richer colors and sophisticated fabrics. The season opens Monday September 21.
