Right to Marry Again Sought by Jack Horner
T M Horner known as Jack Horner who was divorced by his wife more than a year ago filed yesterday in superior court a petition to remove his disabilities. He married Miss Canny Emerson daughter of Isaac Emerson of Baltimore over ten years ago in Atlanta where they lived in Brookwood. Two years ago Mrs Horner petitioned for divorce which was granted. Horner later married J H L McVicer a prominent New York society man. He did not answer his wife’s divorce petition and his disabilities were not removed. Mrs Horner was recalled in local headlines when Mrs J F Hanson filed for divorce claiming her husband too closely associated with Mrs Horner. Major Hanson denied the charge in response.
