Feud Claims Another Victim in Mississippi County
In Memphis on September 21 Cornelins Triplett a colored man was shot and killed at Glingieton Winston county Mississippi. This marks the fourth feud related death in the county with two whites and two colored. Friends of Paul Johnson brother of H B Johnson arrived with arms and ammunition. Indications point to self assistance by the Johnson faction. It is said Paul Johnson was to be killed instead of his brother and the killing of Triplett may have been a mistake. Coroner's jury adjourned until Monday.
