Reports from Mexico City via Galveston detail Captain Pitts of the Acapulco firing on General Barrandia after Barrandia drew revolvers. Barrandia was killed, with passengers reportedly kept safe. A fraud case in Charleston involves Max Gollhorn of the Home Friendly Treasury Society Baltimore. He allegedly forged medical certificates and collected insurance funds by presenting fake corpses, including Charlotte Wryles. He was held, agreed to refund money, and leave the city.
